In this post about Vincent ALLEN I surmised he and John ALLEN may be brothers.
A recent comment on this post states:
The 1841 census has both John and Vincent in the same household as John and Elizabeth ALLEN at Little Gringley.
I am very grateful for this information and I will follow this line of research a little further.
