Vincent Allen

I browsed through the 1881 census entries for Little Gringley, Nottinghamshire. A surprising number of dwellings are recorded, certainly more than my recent visit suggested. I was primarily searching for ALLEN and found the following:

Vincent ALLEN, Head, M, Male, 49 Clarboro, Nottingham, England, Ag Lab
Millicent ALLEN, Wife, M, Female, 50, Ranskill, Nottingham, England, Washer Woman

I wonder if it is safe to assume that Vincent ALLEN is a brother to John ALLEN?

    The 1841 census has both John and Vincent in the same household of John and Elizabeth Allen at Little Gringley
